Over the years HDC staff, board members, and volunteers have woken up bright and early to travel over the hill to Salem in order to have the Central Oregon progressive voice be heard among our legislators.  The 2007 legislative session saw two major successes in equality with the passage of the domestic partnership bill and the anti-discrimanation bill. Thank you to our partners in equality Basic Rights Oregon and PFLAG.  Not only did our efforts make a difference in Central Oregon, but in statewide equality!
